Having worked with tablets and computers for more than 30 years, I am ideally placed to offer computer lessons for my customers. Lots of people are given a tablet or a computer by their younger family members, but they have no idea how to use it. With my experience using many different systems, I provide excellent computer lessons in Cornwall.
On a personal note, I am now in my 50s and I live on my own in Porthtowan. Having been on my own for a long time, I appreciate the value of computers and the internet in connecting people to their community and their friends and loved ones all over the world. This is why I’m so passionate about sharing my knowledge with others, especially with mature and/or disabled people.
As a Registered Nurse, I am able to work with customers who are mature or disabled at their own pace. With lots of life experience to match my technical expertise, I am friendly, approachable, and willing to answer any questions you may have.
In addition to working with computers, I have been an enthusiastic photographer for more than 40 years. As with computers, I have eagerly followed the evolution of cameras and photo software over time. Keeping up to date with technology has enabled me to indulge my biggest passion. Primarily, I take photos of the beautiful Cornish landscape as I travel with a walking group.
Every week, I walk in a different part of Cornwall. As I always have a camera with me, I am able to convey the beauty of Cornwall all through the year. My photographic library now has thousands of digital photos, taken from Land’s End to Launceston and from the North to the South coast. This also informs my work as I teach people how to improve their own photos using accessible and effective software.
